Belief in the Triune God

The core belief of Word of Bible Ministries is faith in the Triune God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We are wholly committed to serve our God with all our strength and proclaim the wonderful work of salvation that God had began in Genesis 3, that Jesus finished on the Cross in John 19, and the marvelous work of sanctification that the Holy Spirit is now presently working out in our lives beginning in Acts 2.

In the Triune God, we see unity, and thus we strive to help all believers in Christ to come to the unifying love poured out by God unto us through Jesus Christ. We believe that the church should not be divided, and that there is strength in unity. We firmly uphold the belief that these distinct yet inseparable entities are coequal and coeternal, forming a singular Godhead.

We embrace the five pillars (five solas) of the Christian Faith:

  1. Scripture Alone (Sola Scriptura)

Central to our beliefs is the sanctity of the Bible as the ultimate authority for matters of faith and practice. Penned by human hands guided by the Holy Spirit, the Bible is both inerrant—free from error—and infallible—a trustworthy guide. Within its pages, we discover God's law highlighting our need for redemption and the gospel proclaiming Christ's redemptive work.

Guided by the Word, our doctrine is shaped, and our actions aligned. We revere the Bible as an invaluable gift from God, offering guidance, meditation, and inspiration for a life that honors Him.

  1. Faith Alone (Sola Fide)

The crux of our faith resides in the sacrificial death of Jesus upon the cross. His selfless act of shouldering humanity's sins has granted eternal life to those who embrace this truth. It's through God's grace that faith is kindled, and forgiveness is bestowed.

  1. Grace Alone (Sola Gratia)

In acknowledging that divine love is not earned through our deeds, we acknowledge that God's affection extends even to those who falter and rebel. Through Jesus Christ, God revealed his unwavering love, offering salvation as a gift to the undeserving.

  1. Christ Alone (Solo Christo)

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life. There is no salvation except through Him. No one can come to the Father, except through Him. He is our High Priest, who intercedes on our behalf before God the Father.

  1. To the Glory of God alone (Soli Deo Gloria)

Soli Deo gloria emphasizes the glory of God as the goal of life. Rather than striving to please church leaders, keep a list of rules, or guard our own interests, our goal is to glorify the Lord. The idea of soli Deo gloria is found in 1 Corinthians 10:31: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
